Installation:

-Choose a suitable place

-Mark 2 points for the holes in the wall or ceiling referring to the size of the mount bracket

-Drill 2 holes in the marked points

-Put 2 plastic nut in the holes, then put the bracket on the wall

-Use screws to fix the bracket

-This is a sealed device and not allowed to be opened, please put the batteries in the back cell

-Put the back side near to the wall, turn it clockwise, make sure the two spins are plugged into its holes

-Press the testing button gently to see if it’s working properly

Procedures of Working, Testing and Maintenance

This detector is ready to work when the installation is finished. When working, its led lamp’s blinking about once per minute. When the smoke is detected, the alarm will given out till the air condition is back to a normal level.

Testing

Press the testing button for at least 3 second, if a series of ringing alarms is given out, that means the detector is working properly, at the meantime the led lamp is blinking frequently. You can also blow smoke into the inside of the detector to test. (Testing every week is recommended to make sure the detector is always working properly)

Avoid to place the device in positions as bellows:

1. Places near to the door, window, fan and so on. Sensitivity’ll be reduced because of the fast air circulating.
2. Places where the humidity is very high, such as bathroom, top floor. Places where the temperature is above 39C or below 5
